Udoka Azibuike is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player who plays for the Phoenix Suns. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Azubuike lost his father at a young age and moved to the United States to pursue a future in basketball. He became a top prospect at the end of his high school career, at the Potter's House Christian School.

After high school, Azubuike committed to play for the University of Kansas Jayhawks for college. He dominated on the court throughout his collegiate basketball career and became a force to be reckoned with. Despite multiple injuries in college, Azubuike did not demonstrate a dip in performance, earning multiple accolades along the way. These include being named the Big 12 Player of the Year and NABC Defensive Player of the Year.

Azubuike garnered attention for his spectacular efficiency inside the paint. With a career field goal percentage of 74.6%, he set the NCAA record for the highest field goal percentage. Furthermore, his physical attributes aid him in being a machine on both ends of the floor.

Udoka Azubuike was drafted with the 27th overall pick by the Utah Jazz in the 2020 NBA Draft.

In his rookie season, Azubuike was assigned to the Utah Jazz’ G League affiliate, Salt Lake City Stars. He made his NBA debut in a playoff game in the 2021 western conference semifinals. In March 2022, Azubuike was ruled out for the rest of the 2021/22 season due to surgery on his right foot.

In the 2023/24 NBA season, Azubuike signed a contract with the Phoenix Suns. The Suns signed Azubuike due to his imposing size. In December 2023, he recorded his best game, a 11-point and 11-rebound game in a loss against the Kings.
