The Bengaluru Beast took on hosts Hyderabad Sky on the third day of the UBA Championship, and it was a good outing for the visitors. The Beast were too hot to handle for the home side as they led almost throughout the fixture.
The first quarter started at a quick pace. A few seconds into the game, both teams scored a 3 pointer each. All the 10 players looked in good knick as they flew around the court showing excellent technique.
Hyderabad Sky showcased their shooting prowess as all of their first 15 points came from 3 pointers. But it was the Beast who went into the quarter break leading Hyderabad 26-21.

The second quarter witnessed pure domination from the Bengaluru boys as Sahu was absolutely spectacular, flying all over the court. Luck didn’t favour the home team either; they failed to score in the first few minutes despite hitting several shots at the basket.
Those quick no-look passes and wonderful 2 pointers from Sahu, who was wearing the No. 9 jersey, silenced the home crowd. At the half time break, the team from Karnataka had extended their lead to 50-39.
Hyderabad Sky came back strongly in the third quarter scoring 12 points while keeping a solid defence at the back. The crowd cheered every point for the home side and they reduced the deficit to 8 points to set up an interesting final quarter.
The tension was palpable in the stadium in the last frame, which started with the scoreline at 59-51 in favour of the visitors. With 1 minute 25 seconds remaining in the game, both teams had scored 10 points each, making the score 69-61.
Hyderabad then scored a 2-pointer to make it a 6-point game, but neither team was able to score after and the match ended in favour of Bengaluru Beast.
