July 6th was Day 2 of the NBA Summer League in Orlando and of the 10 teams, only 6 were scheduled to take part in the second day’s action.
Memphis Grizzlies played the Detroit Pistons while Philadelphia 76ers went at it with Oklahoma City Thunder, and the third match was between the Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets. The Pistons, Sixers and Heat were the three victorious teams on Sunday.
The biggest story of Sunday’s action was all about Thunder’s Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who by scoring 30 against the Sixers recorded his second straight 30 point game in the Summer League. However, he ended up on the losing side against the Sixers.
