Damian Jones is out with a pectoral muscle tear.

Reflecting on Damian Jones' surgery following his torn left pectoral back in December, the Warriors need some depth as they look for a defensive five. They sure can be buyers in that respect with possible viable contenders aplenty.

Warriors center Damian Jones will undergo surgery to repair his torn left pectoral this week, league source tells ESPN. Jones will meet with a specialist in Chicago prior, and they'll have better idea after procedure if he can return late in playoffs -- or if he's out for season.

Although the return of Cousins has eased Golden State's center depth woes for a while, they can't afford to overuse Boogie in an extended postseason run, considering the fact that he's 'not coming out reserved or timid' and will 'push his body to the limit as long as he's out there'.

With a couple of buyouts probable in the near future in Sacramento with Zach Randolph or in Chicago with Robin Lopez, there is a high chance that these players might be available on the open market as GSW look to benefit off their roles.

Along with DeWayne Dedmon of the Atlanta Hawks rumored to be in the Warriors' sights as well, it might be interesting to see who the Dubs are able to land ie, IF they plan on going out hunting.
