#1 Bradley Beal

Due to the Wizards inability to compete in the Eastern Conference, Bradley Beal has been linked with a trade to teams including the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder. Nevertheless, Bleacher Report is quoting unnamed league executives who state that the All-Star will be remaining in Washington:

His agent, Mark Bartelstein, is not looking for a trade. Brad wants to win. He wants to win at the highest level, and he wants to compete for championships. I think he's seeing progress, and he's going to do everything he can to lead this team. They got themselves into a huge hole, and he's going to do his best to get them out of it

The All-Star pairing of Beal and John Wall has yet to pay off for the Wizards, although both players are still locked into multi-year deals.
Ultimately, Beal looks set for a long stay in Washington and only a desperate last-minute bid from the Lakers could derail this.
