He played center/power forward for the Washington Wizards in the NBA, and as of January 2025, he plays for the Tofaş Spor Kulübü, a Turkish professional basketball team, in the Basketball Super League and the FIBA Europe Cup. Pasecniks was selected as the 25th overall pick in the first round by the Orlando Magic in the 2017 NBA Draft. Pasecniks played for the Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria, known as Dreamland Gran Canaria, a Spanish professional basketball club that competes in the Liga ACB and the EuroCup. According to the Proballers, Pasecniks scored 1,469 points, grabbed 654 rebounds, and made 98 assists in the Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa. He won the Spanish Supercup Championship in 2016 and was named the Spanish League All-Young Players Team in 2017. He played in the NBA from 2019 to 2021, where he scored a total of 156 points, grabbed 108, and made 19 assists, according to the Proballers. Later, he joined the Real Betis Baloncesto S.A.D., the Metropolitans 92, and the Palencia Baloncesto before joining the Tofas.
