Colby Jones Wingspan
The term “Wingspan” refers to the fingertip-to-fingertip measurement of a player when the player's arms are outstretched. In the field of sports, Wingspan is also termed an ‘Armspan’. Wingspan is generally used for measuring the distance between the tips of the wings of a plane or a bird.
Many studies claimed that a player with a wide wingspan is more likely to perform well in the match. A wide wingspan helps the player to dominate over their competitors as he can block/deflect the shots more easily. In general, Wingspan is equal to or slightly higher than the player’s height.
Colby Jones, a 6’ 5” tall player, has a 6 feet 8 inches wingspan. It becomes very comfortable for him to project the path of the ball during the matches.
