The Nike Hoop Summit offers players an additional opportunity to impress scouts as they prepare for their potential basketball careers. Countless NBA players have participated in the event since its inauguration in 1995. That includes past and present NBA stars like Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving and Bradley Beal.
This year’s Nike Hoop Summit will take place on Saturday, April 8, at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. The women’s game will start at 4:00 pm, while the men’s game will be at 7:00 pm. This year will mark the first year the USA women's team will be participating in the event.
As for Bronny James, the event will mark the Sierra Canyon School senior’s first taste of USA basketball. James is ranked as the 28th-best recruit in the 2023 class by ESPN.
