Following the game, Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown spoke about the altercation between Brook Lopez and Trey Lyles. Brown explained that he wasn’t sure what sparked the altercation, but said he’s just glad to see his players sticking up for themselves:

"I don't know what happened, but we ain't taking no s**t from nobody. Trust me on that," Brown said. "And they're all going to have each other's backs in there."

Meanwhile, Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer added that it was unfortunate to see a competitive game ruined by drama:

"It's unfortunate. I think it was a great game," Budenholzer said. "I was so impressed with Sacramento and the way they play. I'm not going to say anything about what did or didn't happen."
