According to Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe, the Celtics players will be flying to Miami for a few days to celebrate their NBA triumph.

The champions are slated to have a major Bash in Miami before returning to Boston for the victory parade on Friday.

According to other reports, the Celtics parade will tentatively begin around 11 a.m. in Boston. It will be broadcast live on TV and will be live streamed on online platforms as well. The streaming details are yet to be officially announced.

What happened in Game 5 of NBA Finals?

The Celtics did what they were supposed to do at home in a close out game. Boston players were locked in for Game 5 from the onset and the team came out clicking on all parameters.

Joe Mazzulla's men won the first quarter by 10 points and followed it up by winning the second quarter by 11 points. At half time, the Celtics had secured a commanding 67-46 lead.

The Celtics shot 10-21 from the 3-point range in the first half, which ultimately made a huge difference.

Boston kept their foot on the peddle and knocked down shots at crucial intervals in the second half. The Celtics players were terrific throughout the game in creating second chance opportunities. The home team had 15 offensive boards on the night.

Jayson Tatum led the team in scoring. The 26-year-old scored 31 points on 11-of-24 shooting from the field. He also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out 11 assists.

Jaylen Brown, who won the Finals MVP award, chipped in with 21 points, eight rebounds and six assists on the night. Baring Al Horford, all the Celtics starters scored in double figures.

The two Mavericks superstars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving had an ordinary game on Friday. Doncic scored 28 points but shot 2-of-9 from the 3-point range. Irving scored 15 points on 5-of-16 shooting from the field.
