When Dennis Rodman recalled wild first night with Madonna: "I wasn't the only one [there]!"

Dennis Rodman has led a very interesting life. During his 14-year NBA career, the forward was amazing and dominant, but also very controversial, both on and off the court.

As one of the most popular athletes at the time, Rodman had a chance to date many A-list celebrities. Due to this, he's been involved with several popular women, including Madonna, Vivica Fox and Carmen Electra.

Rodman's relationship with Madonna was very interesting as the popular singer was at the peak of her career. Furthermore, they started their relationship shortly after the basketball legend divorced his first wife.

Dennis Rodman recalls his first night with Madonna

Rodman married Annie Bakes, his first wife, in September 1992. The marriage took place during his final season with the Detroit Pistons, where the forward won two championship rings.

While the two had a daughter, their marriage did not work out very well. Due to accusations of abuse and infidelity, the basketball star divorced Bakes after only 82 days. However, his next relationship was with Madonna, the Queen of Pop.

Rodman's fling with the popular artist was a whirlwind. It lasted for two months and the basketball star believes that Madonna tried to conceive a child with him. In one of his many interviews, the five-time NBA champion recalled his first night with the pop star.

"As I hit the door, I heard this little voice says, 'Dennis, where you going?'" Rodman recalled. "I said, 'Going in here!' and I go in here and work out and sleep. 'No, you're not. You're coming in here.'"

When he was asked what he was thinking while he was laying in Madonna's bed, Dennis Rodman had a rather unusual answer.

"I wasn't the only one,'" Rodman replied.

There are many stories about Rodman's life and his relationship with women. According to some rumors, the pop star locked him in her hotel room and refused to let him out.
