When LeBron James talked smack after putting Jason Terry on one of most iconic posters: "Because we all know J.T. talks too much sometimes"

LeBron James is one of the best in-game dunkers in the NBA. During his impressive professional career, the superstar forward posterized many players thanks to his incredible athleticism.

One of LeBron's most iconic dunks came in March 2013 against the Boston Celtics. This time, the victim of the poster was Jason Terry, a veteran point guard who was one of James' foes.

Terry was a great player, but he was generally disliked by Miami Heat fans and players. He talked a lot about the Heat after they formed the super team in 2010, which is what caused some hostility between him and LeBron.

LeBron James enjoyed putting Jason Terry on a poster in 2013

It's March 18, 2013, and the Miami Heat are playing against the Celtics in Boston. This is Jason Terry's first season with the Celtics, yet LeBron James is coming off his first-ever championship ring.

Terry turned the ball over at half-court and it was picked up by Mario Chalmers, who then passed it to Norris Cole. Cole found LeBron cutting to the basket and threw an alley-oop pass for him, which resulted in a poster on Jason Terry.

Unsurprisingly, the Miami Heat forward loved putting the guard on a poster. The two had some history together and Terry publicly admitted that he hated the Heat, which made the dunk even sweeter. Here's what LeBron James said to The Associated Press:

"It's one of my better ones and the fact that it happened to J.T. makes it even that much sweeter because we all know J.T. talks too much sometimes. I'm glad it happened to him."

Besides the dunk, the Heat beat the Celtics and James finished the night with 37 points, seven rebounds, and 12 assists. He also had two steals and two blocks in the huge victory.

Jason Terry vs. Miami Heat

Jason Terry strongly disliked the Miami Heat, and he had a good reason for it. In 2006, his Dallas Mavericks were up 2-0 in the NBA Finals against the Heat and it seemed like they were going to win it all.

However, Dwyane Wade, who was in his third professional season, took over the series. The talented shooting guard averaged 39.3 points on 50.5% shooting in these wins, leading the Heat to their first-ever NBA championship. Naturally, Terry wasn't thrilled about this.

The Dallas Mavericks guard had a chance to avenge his loss in 2011. The Mavericks, led by the brilliant Dirk Nowitzki, beat the heavily-favored Heat in six games, and Terry won his first championship ring.

Two years after winning it all, Terry joined the Boston Celtics, saying that his mission was to "kill" the Miami Heat. It's safe to say that LeBron James took note and responded to Terry in the best possible way.
