NBA 2K has traditionally added multiple celebratory events as part of its Christmas celebrations. This year, as season 3 is expected to be introduced somewhere in December, the same kind of treatment can be expected. Multiple sources expect the Goat Boat and The City to be filled with various Christmas-themed decorations and events.
In NBA 2K22, even the courts underwent a Christmas-themed redesign which can be expected to happen this time around as well. Additionally, free packs and various Christmas gift-shaped rewards were also added. Finally, a range of player packs with special featured versions of legends were also added. NBA 2K23 has already seen a steady stream of legends being released in the form of player packs.
