Now in his 11th NBA season, Dennis Schroder is a veteran point guard who plays for the Toronto Raptors. Born on September 15, 1993, Schroder is known for being a tough ball handling point guard with great leadership qualities.

Drafted 17th overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2013 NBA Draft, Schröder has had a successful NBA career. With a quick burst of speed, he blows by defenders with ease and knows how to finish at the rim. He also has a good mid-range game, especially from the elbow spots.

Standing at 6 foot 1 inches, Dennis Schröder is a pesky defender who consistently annoys guards bigger than him. Known for his tenacity, Schröder is as tough as nails on the defensive end. He is unafraid to engage in physical play and often disrupts opposition rhythm. His ability to take charges adds a selfless and gritty dimension to his game.

Schröder’s NBA career’s best moment came in 2023, as he played a pivotal role in the Lakers' return to the playoffs. In a crucial 2023 play-in game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Schröder scored 21 points on 75% 3-point shooting, hitting three of his four threes. When the game was tied in the last seconds, Schröder hit a clutch go-ahead 3-pointer, off a pass from LeBron James.

It seemed to have sealed the victory for the Lakers but a late foul by Anthony Davis allowed the Timberwolves to force overtime. Despite this setback, the Lakers won the game in overtime courtesy of Schröder's two clutch free throws in overtime. This great performance by Schröder propelled the Lakers to the 2023 NBA playoffs after missing the previous year's postseason.
