Mikal Bridges is an American shooting guard/small forward who plays for the New York Knicks in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Bridges was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers as the 10th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NBA draft but was immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns. He moved to the Brooklyn Nets in 2023 before joining the Knicks in 2024. He has appeared in 556 games in his NBA career, averaging 14.8 points, four rebounds and 2.7 assists per game, as per reports.

Before turning professional, Bridges played college basketball for the Villanova Wildcats from 2015 to 2018. He was named the Big East Co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and was the Big East Tournament Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2018. Bridges, who helped the Wildcats win two NCAA championships, was named to the All-Big East Second Team in 2017 and All-Big East First Team in 2018.
