Key matchups for Brazil vs Germany

Brazil vs Germany should be an interesting matchup given how France had a hard time against the former. The hosts had a bunch of NBA stars, but they were unable to put Brazil away with ease. They might not have a lot of top players, but they play like a team.

On the other hand, Germany remains a formidable squad with a history of winning. They are the reigning FIBA World Champions for a reason and Dennis Schroder will be the main man again, orchestrating the offense. Franz Wagner is another factor for Die Mannschaft as a scorer and defender.

The main matchup should be Marcelinho Huertas vs. Dennis Schroder at point guard. Both are excellent playmakers, although Schroder should have the advantage offensively. The Brooklyn Nets guard should be able to win the matchup, but fans should watch out for Huertas still.

Another key matchup on Tuesday will be Cristiano Felicio vs. Daniel Theis. They are very good, bruising big men for their respective countries. Felicio has plenty of NBA experience and won't be afraid to bang down low with Theis, who is a physical player for the New Orleans Pelicans.
