Adem Bona, a Nigerian-Turkish basketball player currently competes at the collegiate level of basketball at the University of California, Los Angeles. Born on March 28, 2003, in Lagos, Nigeria, Bona used to play football in his native. He discovered basketball and his talent in the sport later when he was scouted by a Turkish Coach.
Bona’s introduction to the game of basketball can be attributed to his height. He started off playing using makeshift hoops in the fields. He was spotted by a Turkish coach who facilitated his entry into professional basketball.
