Kris Murray is an American college basketball player. He was born on 19th August 2000. Kris was raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and started playing basketball during his junior year at high school. Kris Murray is the twin brother of Keegan Murray, who is also an emerging basketball player. Both brothers joined Prairie High School and played for the school team. Kris was named first-team All-Metro and second-team All-State. At high school, the Murray brothers were trained by coach Jeremy Rickertson.
Later after graduating from Prairie High School in 2019, Kris Murray joined DME Sports Academy in Daytona Beach, Florida. With the team at the academy, Kris competed in the national tournament. In the tournament, Kris averaged 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 2.5 blocks.
