Noah Clowney (born on July 14, 2004) is a college-level basketball player from America. He plays college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team of the Southeastern Conference.
High School Career
Noah joined Dormon High School in Roebuck, South Carolina. While playing as a junior, he was trained by the head coach Thomas Ryan. In his junior season, Noah averaged 9.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks over 26 games. He was rated as the consensus No.1 prep player of the South Carolina state.
As a senior, Noah joined the NBPA Top 100 camp in 2021. Noah averaged 17.5 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks in the matches played on the AAU circuit. After two seasons at Dorman high school, Noah attended the University of Alabama to play college basketball.
College Career
Before the start of his first season of college, Noah played in Crimson Tide’s European tour where he averaged 12.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He made his college debut in a match against the Chinese National team. During this game, Noah scored 11 points and 10 rebounds. Noah scored a season-high 22 points in Alabama’s win over South Dakota State.
Throughout his freshman season, he played as a power forward in the Alabama Crimson Tide men’s basketball team. Noah was titled as the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week for his great performance during the matches in the first two weeks of December. After completing a season at Alabama, Noah declared for the 2023 NBA draft.
As a college player, Noah averaged 9.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 36 games played during the 2022-23 season.
