Trayce Jackson-Davis is a college basketball player who is looking to make it big in the upcoming NBA draft. He has inherited basketball genes from his father Dale Davis who played in the NBA for 17 years.
Trayce is an excellent playmaker who has the ability to pick out great passes. He has a great vertical leap which he makes use of well to throw down huge dunks. He has good ability to finish at the rim and also has the game to finish in transition. His speed is a true advantage for his size as he can get up and down the floor quicker than his opponents. His game revolves around patience, passing, and can also make plays for himself as well as set up his teammates. What he needs to improve on the offense is his jump shot and to use his right hand more. At the moment, he shoots everything with his left hand and thus good teams can easily counter that.
On the defensive end, Trayce uses his height and long wingspan to his advantage. He is a capable rim protector as he has shown through his blocking skills. Furthermore, Jackson-Davis also has the ability to guard multiple positions. Therefore, he can not only guard the paint but also the perimeter easily. An improvement on the defense that he needs to work on is his post defense. He finds it difficult to work 1 on 1 against bigger and stronger forwards.
