Derrick Rose's son Derrick Rose Jr., also known as PJ Rose, has made headlines for his basketball skills.

According to an Instagram post by PJ Rose, he was born on Oct. 9, 2012. He is the oldest son of the former Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies star and his only child with former girlfriend Mieka Reese.

The couple separated four years after their son was born. Despite their separation in 2016, the couple have been committed to co-parenting their son. From school to basketball games, D-Rose has constantly supported his son.

PJ Rose has already shown his talents in basketball, even outside school. Earlier this year, he was part of Ja Morant's AAU team, Twelve Time. Despite being in fifth grade, PJ was selected for the team that accepted only sixth—and seventh-graders, according to Memphis Commercial Appeal.
