Who did Eric Williams play for in the NBA?

Before his meltdowns on "Basketball Wives," Eric Williams made a name for himself in the NBA. The 6-foot-8 forward played in the league for 12 years and suited up for seven different franchises.

Williams' journey in professional basketball began in 1995, when he was drafted 14th by the Boston Celtics. After two seasons with the team, his bouncing around the league would begin.

Following his brief stint with the Celtics, Williams made his way to Denver to join the Nuggets. However, after just two seasons, he left to return to Boston. From there, he'd spend the next five years as a member of the Celtics.

Midway through the 2004 season, the Celtics sent Williams to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The following offseason, he had one of the most heartfelt moments of his career. Growing up, Williams grew up in Newark, New Jersey. Years later, he got the opportunity to ink a deal with his hometown Nets.

In the final years of his career, Williams suited up for the Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Bobcats. When his playing days were said and done, he had appeared in a total of 658 games. In that time, he averaged 8.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
