Why is Gordon Hayward's wife calling out Charlotte Hornets?
Gordon Hayward's wife, Robyn, has called out the Charlotte Hornets the way they handled his husband's shoulder injury. Robyn posted a story on her Instagram to tell the extent of Gordon's injury.
"He actually has a fractured scapula," Robyn wrote. "That they had him play with last game. … That's why he couldn't move his arm up in the last game. Everyone who knows Gordon knows he has one goal, and that’s to win and play the right way; he's the most truthful player/person you'd find. If he's not gonna play, it's for something more than a bruise."
Robyn also pointed out how the Hornets are failing to protect their players. She even cited the mother of a young Hornets player who's also unhappy with the team's handling of injuries.
"Just to clarify - since the team doesn't say," Robyn wrote. "It's a fracture in the shoulder, which is a broken bone. I've over them not protecting players. Just was talking with a young player's mom, and she was saying the same thing."
