Ashley Smith, Ryan Smith's wife, married the Utah Jazz owner in 2006
Ryan Smith's wife was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. At one point, Ashley also lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, but eventually returned to her home state.
During her youth, Ashley was interested in the arts and wanted to develop her musical and dancing abilities. She left Las Vegas in 2000, enrolling at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Besides her love for the arts, Ryan Smith's wife discovered her entrepreneurship skills at the university. While attending Accounting 200, she met Ryan Smith, who would become her husband six years later.

Ashley eventually founded Smash Dance Academy in Provo and she's helped her husband with Qualtrics. The two have five children, who are also interested in basketball and support the Utah Jazz.
Ashley Smith's wife has achieved a lot of success with her dance academy. As of 2023, Smash Dance Academy has more than 80 employees and around 500 students.
She also serves on the board of Ballet West and has been involved in Abby Cox's Show Up initiative, which is intended to help people who are less fortunate. Ashley does some work for Five for the Fight, a non-profit organization that fights against cancer.

Ryan Smith will be the honorary captain for the All-Star Celebrity Game. The game will feature many high-profile celebrities and will be played on Friday, Feb. 17.
