Utah Jazz majority owner Ryan Smith will serve as an honorary captain in the 2023 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Smith will headline a roster that features Pro Football Hall of Famer Calvin Johnson and future National Baseball Hall of Famer Albert Pujols. WNBA All-Star Diamond DeShields of the Phoenix Mercury and rapper Cordae will also be on Smith's roster.
Rapper Ozuna and five-time American Music Award winner Kane Brown will compete for Team Ryan Smith. Actor Sinqua Walls and WWE star The Miz are on Team Smith. 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' correspondent Guillermo Rodriguez, actor Everett Osborne, and TV host Marcos Mion round out the roster.
The roster will be coached by Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Lisa Leslie, rapper Fat Joe, and Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman.
