The Warriors vs. Suns game will be perhaps the most anticipated game of NBA opening night. The game will be announced by an all-star ensemble of Ian Eagle, Stan Van Gundy and Chris Haynes.
Before the Warriors vs. Suns game tips off, as usual, the Inside the NBA crew will be on air. After a full off-season away from the fans, Shaquille O'Neal, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley will be back on set. The TNT crew will complement the on-game announcers before the game, during half-time and during the post-game show.
The Golden State Warriors taking on the Phoenix Suns will be full of storylines. Chris Paul will be making his Warriors debut and at the same time facing his former team, the Suns.
Kevin Durant will be returning to the Warriors stomping ground for the first time since leaving after the 2019 campaign.

An epic opening showdown
The Suns finished 45-37 last season but were beaten by the Denver Nuggets in the second round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Warriors were handed the same fate when they faced the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors, meanwhile, acquired the seasoned point guard soon after by shipping Jordan Poole to the Wizards.
While one team was all about bolstering its firepower, the other is now reliant on its core of veterans to win another title.
The Warriors have the two leaders in made 3-pointers per game last season in Stephen Curry at 4.9 threes and Klay Thompson at 4.4 threes per game. The Suns have the NBA's highest-scoring-trio based on the previous season's regular season averages: Kevin Durant with 29.1 PPG, Devin Booker at 27.8 PPG and Bradley Beal with 23.2 PPG.
Both teams will be looking to make an early statement and take over the game. It will be interesting to see what type of reception Kevin Durant receives from Dub Nation.
