Damian Lillard concluded his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks after he was traded from the Portland Trail Blazers ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The eight-time NBA All-Star averaged 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.0 steals across the 73 games he played in the regular season. Lillard also shot 42.4% from the field, including 35.4% from beyond the arc as the Bucks secured a 49-33 record to place third in the Eastern Conference.

However, the Bucks were handed an early exit in the postseason after they were defeated 4-2 by the Indiana Pacers in a first-round playoff series. The outcome may have been due to the injury to their star players, with Giannis Antetokounmpo out for the entire series, while Lillard missed two of the six games.
