Born on June 22, 1989, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Zoran Dragic is the younger brother of basketball player Goran Dragic. He decided to play basketball like his older brother. He arrived in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns on November 15, 2014. He won the Slovenian League 4 times, is a Spanish League Champion, and won the Italian and the Turkish Cup. He also won the Italian Supercup 2-times, Slovenian Cup 2-times and the Slovenian Supercup 2-times.
Zoran Dragic has been chosen by team Slovenia to represent them in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Zoran Dragic plays for Slovenia on the international level. He started with the junior national team at the 2007 FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship. After this, he participated in the 2009 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, thereby becoming the 4th best scorer of the tournament in the process.
Zoran Dragic, along with his brother Goran Dragic joined the senior team during the 2011 EuroBasket and gained success. This motivated him to participate in the 2013 EuroBasket and help his team. He played for Team Slovenia in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
He also represented Slovenia in the 2015 EuroBasket and was ultimately defeated by Latvia in the Round of 16. He joined team Slovenia for the 2022 EuroBasket. However, they were defeated by Poland in the quarter-finals.
Now, Zoran Dragic will once again have joined team Slovenia in the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
