Basketball Career

A Slovenian basketball participant, Zoran Dragic embarked on his basketball journey inside the Slovenian 1B league with Ilirija in 2004. He progressed through Slovenian leagues, shifting to Jance STZ and Geoplin Slovan until 2010. Joining Unicaja Malaga in 2012 marked his move to the Liga ACB. He signed with the Phoenix Suns in 2014, making his NBA debut and creating history by playing with his brother, Goran. A brief stint with the Miami Heat followed in 2015.

Zoran then returned to Europe, signing with Khimki and later Olimpia Milano and Anadolu Efes. An ACL injury in 2018 paused his season, however, he rebounded with Alma Trieste, Ratiopharm ULM, and Baskonia after the recovery. Zoran showcased his abilities inside the EuroLeague and numerous other leagues. His basketball journey continued with a switch to Zalgiris Kaunas in 2021, though it was short-lived. In 2022, he joined Cedevita Olympida, illustrating his resilience and adaptability across different clubs and leagues. Zoran’s career journey underlines his versatility, transitioning between NBA and European leagues, navigating accidents, and embracing new demanding situations.
