His journey then led him to Spain, where he played for Unicaja Malaga in the Liga ACB. Thereafter, Zoran signed with the Phoenix Suns and continued his basketball journey with this basketball group. His time with the Phoenix Suns marked a significant step in his career. Alongside his brother Goran Dragic, they etched a history by becoming part of the first set of brothers to play for the same NBA group simultaneously. Thereafter, Zoran and his brother Goran joined the Miami Heat via a trade by their previous team.

Zoran’s basketball journey was not confined to the NBA. He returned to Europe and showcased his prowess with teams like Khimki in Russia, Olimpia Milano in Italy and Anadolu Efes in Turkey. His determination and resilience were evident as he battled back from injury setbacks, proving his commitment to his most loved sport.
