Prominent BGMI streamer Hrishav "Hrishav" Kumar played classic matches live on YouTube livestream on May 7, 2023, where he discussed multiple topics regarding the ongoing problems in Hydra Esports. During the broadcast, he grabbed the opportunity to cite reasons why the esports players of the organization fail to feature in ongoing Tier-1 scrims.

Hrishav mentioned a couple of reasons why Team Hydra was not playing the ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India esports scrims. According to the streamer, a meeting was supposed to be held on May 7 that would determine the future of the organization's esports plans. Furthermore, the lineup was not finalized as well.

Assuring fans, Hrishav stated that once the meeting successfully concludes, the players of Hydra Esports will be seen treading on the virtual battlegrounds again.

"We are not playing scrims because a meeting is yet to be held, and the final lineup is not ready. Once the meeting successfully concludes, Hydra's players will be playing scrims again. The meeting is supposed to happen today."

Hrishav is an integral member of Hydra and is followed by thousands in the BGMI community. Hence, it's natural that his recent statements have generated so much attention from fans.

Hrishav assures fans that Hydra Esports' BGMI lineup will remain amidst problems in the organization

For those unaware, in a previous livestream Hrishav cited the reason why Dynamo showed a lack of interest in Hydra's participation in BGMI esports. According to him, Dynamo wasn't interested in investing alone.

Assuring fans, however, Hrishav stated that Dynamo is still interested in esports and the lineup will remain. But he could only confirm after having a meeting with the owner.

Hrishav added (translated from Hindi):

"He doesn't want to invest alone. He has already invested a lot. That's why he said like that. Otherwise, it's nothing like he doesn't want to involve in esports or keep esports for Hydra. Myself and the team have covered up a lot of things. So, I think, for now, the Hydra Esports lineup will be there, but I can confirm only after speaking with Dynamo."

Although it has been a couple of days since Hrishav's latest livestream happened, it is still unclear whether the meeting regarding the participation of Hydra Esports in BGMI scrims occurred or not. To date, Hydra is absent from playing the scrims.
