Team S8UL co-owner Lokesh "Goldy" Jain has confirmed that Amit Dube will be sticking with Team Soul as the coach of their BGMI lineup. There was talk in the community that he would leave the organization to join another BGMI roster as a coach. Now it has been confirmed by Goldy that some misunderstandings that had arisen between Amit Dubey and the management have been sorted out.

With Krafton and the Government of India confirming the relaunch of BGMI in the country, many organizations are looking to set their roster right. It won't be surprising if other firms have approached Amit to join them, as the former PUBG athlete is known for his exceptional coaching skills.

Goldy stated that the issue arose due to a miscommunication of words between Amit Dubey and a member of the management. Subsequently, none of the co-founders were at the boot camp to resolve the situation. Having been informed about the matter a few days ago, he recently called the coach to clear up the misunderstanding.

"Thanks to Goldy Bhai for resolving the matter," says Soul's BGMI coach Amit Dubey

After the matter was resolved, he went live on his YouTube channel to publicly confirm he would continue with the organization. He mentioned:

"I didn't understand some things and there was a small misunderstanding. Thanks to Goldy Bhai who called me at 6 o'clock and cleared everything and also told me to come for bootcamp in 4-5 days. For now, this is all. You (fans) can ask Goldy Bhai what happened."

With this clarification, Team Soul and Amit Dube will concentrate on bagging titles this year after the re-release of BGMI, which is expected to return to the country very soon.

After a string of poor performances by Team Soul in late 2021, specifically in the BGIS, the organizer recruited him as a coach on January 13, 2022, and signed Omega and Akshat as professional players the same month. The popular esports firm added Hector and Goblin to the roster in March last year, creating an entirely new lineup that has since emerged as one of the top Indian units.

Under the guidance of Amit Dubey, the squad won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series. However, Team Soul were ordinary in a few following events, including the Battlegrounds Showdown and the World Invitational (PMWI 2022). But Amit Dubey's stellar job in the team has been appreciated by several prominent figures, including Mortal.
