Following a long hiatus, BGMI will return to the Indian gaming market soon. Krafton announced the news through the game's social media handles on May 19. The news captivated the gaming community as everyone seemed overjoyed and relieved. They now await the game to be relisted in the App Store and Play Store.

Sportskeeda contacted renowned esports players asking them to cite their views regarding the game's relaunch in India.

BGMI esports stars are excited to learn about the title returning to the Indian market

Raj "Snax" Varma (Content Creator for S8UL)

Snax is amongst the biggest Battlegrounds Mobile India stars in the country. Followed by millions, he was part of Team XO while playing BMPS and BGMS. However, he parted ways with the organization and is now a free agent. While he is jubilant that the game has returned, it is still unclear which team he will join.

His reaction to the game's return was:

"Finally my sprays are back. The best morning I had after a very long time."

Akshat "Akshat" Goel (Esports star for Team SouL):

Akshat was one of the main reasons Team SouL emerged as the inaugural champions of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series. He also represented the team in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022. However, the game's suspension resulted in him taking a break from BGMI esports and trying out New State Mobile. He seemed ecstatic learning about the game's return to the Indian market.

Here's what he had to say:

"Really happy to see that the game is coming back. We were having a tough time. Hope tournaments and other events starts soon. Moving forward towards dominating the lobbies again. Grind starts soon."

Yogesh "Roxx" Yadav (Esports player for Team Celtz, managed by 8bit Creatives)

Roxx needs no introduction in the BGMI gaming community. He is amongst the most sought-after IGLs in the community. However, his rise to the top was halted when the game was suspended last year.

A happy Roxx talked about the importance of the game in the growth of the Indian gaming ecosystem. He stated:

"I'm happy that BGMI is back since a lot of people were dependent on it for livelihood. Return of the game will provide a new boost to emerging Indian gamers and the gaming industry."

Prasanth "StrikerFTW" C (Esports player for Team Tamilas):

StrikerFTW was one of the best assaulters helping Hyderabad Hydras reach the Finals of consecutive BGMI esports tournaments. However, days after the title's suspension, Hyderabad let go of its roster. StrikerFTW has been playing the T1 scrims for Team Tamilas since then. His happiness knew no bounds as he seemed excited to play LAN events again.

His reaction was:

"So finally the game has made its comeback. It's time to grind and shine. We are really excited to play the LAN events and tournaments. Let's go!"

Although the game is returning for a trial period of three months, esports enthusiasts and lovers of the game are hopeful that it will not face a ban again. It remains to be seen when gamers can log into the updated title version.
