BGMI star Shadow announced that he is no longer a member of Gujarat Tigers. Led by him, the team failed to perform well in the recent Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 and was eliminated during its initial stages. He played for the organization for almost six months but did not have an impressive run.
The ongoing BGIS 2024 witnessed several top-tier teams struggle to deliver promising results, many being knocked out in the initial phases. The Grand Finals of this official event is set to kick off on June 28, 2024, with the best 16 Indian lineups.
BGMI star Shadow’s journey under the Gujarat Tigers banner
In January 2024, Gujarat Tigers signed Numen Gaming's ex-lineup. Under the captaincy of Shadow, the team secured the ninth position in the iQOO Pro Series 2024. The roster had a decent start to the event but struggled in the Grand Finals.

Gujarat Tigers had a mediocre run in the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series as the squad finished 15th in the overall table. They also had a modest showcasing in the Upthrust India Rising, ranking 13th.
The Shadow-led lineup also faced tough competition in the Skyesports Mobile Open held in April 2024 after being eliminated during its semifinal stage. They also failed to perform well in the OneGame Pro Championship Season 1 and finished 13th. The club was 15th in the Upthrust Challengers Showdown Season 2.
In the BGIS 2024, Gujarat Tigers played directly in the second round as the team was 45th in the Grind Event. The squad had a fine run in the second and third rounds of the competition. They faltered in the fourth round and fell to the wildcard, where the lineup was impressive in their initial games but yet again stumbled terribly in their last few encounters. The Shadow-led unit could not acquire a spot in the semifinals and faced elimination from this BGMI grand event.
It will be fascinating to see which team Shadow will join for his future journey. He has been struggling in the scene for the past few years.
The BGMI Masters Series Season 3 is all set to start in the coming few days. ChutchGod, Apollo, and Wixxy are still associated with Gujarat Tigers. After the BGIS 2024 Finals, it is expected that many teams will make changes in their rosters.
