BGMI pro Sahil “Omega” Jakhar has surprisingly left Carnival Gaming. The club is currently playing in BGMS Season 3 in Delhi NCR. However, Omega was not a part of the playing four. Additionally, the organization recently named Hector the team's captain for BGMS and added former Team Soul player Spower to the squad.

Under the leadership of Hector, the club has seen mediocre results so far in the ongoing BGMS Season 3. Carnival Gaming was 13th in the overall league rankings with 164 points after 22 matches.

Omega announced his separation from Carnival Gaming via his Instagram page. He wrote:

"This journey has come to an end. See you on the other side Carnival Gaming & team. Adios."

He also said in his Instagram Live that he would reveal the reason behind this decision. He is set to play in the upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India Pro Series (BMPS) Season with a different team. However, the veteran player is currently looking for a new club.

In January 2024, Carnival Gaming acquired Team Soul's former BGMI roster. The newly formed organization has achieved impressive results in a few tournaments with this lineup. The club won the Bigno Nachos Gameon Cup, RA Esports Rising Star Showdown Season 3, and Lidoma Masters Showdown.

Carnival Gaming registered the fourth position in the Snapdragon Pro Series 2024, with Omega and the team putting up impressive performances. Meanwhile, the lineup faced challenges in some notable competitions like the iQOO Pro Series, The Grind, and BGIS 2024.

Omega is an experienced captain and has contested in many top-tier tournaments. He led Team Soul to conquer the inaugural edition of the BMPS in 2022. The team also represented India in the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022, which was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Omega has previously played for some well-known organizations such as 8Bit, Chemin, and Team Soul. He started his esports career with PUBG Mobile in mid-2019. He will now aim to make a comeback in the upcoming BMPS Season 3, which will begin right after the conclusion of the BGMS.
