On November 6, 2024, Gods Reign parted ways with their BGMI squad and also announced the signing of the previous MOGO Esports lineup. This move came right before the beginning of the Skyesports Championship 2024 and the Red Bull M.E.O. event. Fans believe the organization has underperformed this year and they will now look to achieve better results in the upcoming 2025 season with the new roster.
Interestingly, the Destro-led squad previously played under Gods Reign before joining MOGO Esports in May 2024. They even clinched the BGMI Titans Rising tournament for MOGO Esports and claimed the second spot in the Thug Invitational.
Gods Reign’s BGMI roster
Gods Reign's new 5-man roster is as follows:
- Destro - Ammar Khan
- DeltaPG - Parth Garg
- Justin - Justin Nadar
- NinjaJod - Shubham Ranjan Sahoo
- Robin - Robin Singh Shekhawat
Introducing the roster, the organization posted a 150-second video on its social media pages, stating:
"Unstoppable. Unmatched. Unrivaled. Unveiling the epitome of BGMI Dominance in India. Presenting the Gods Reign BGMI 2025."
While NinjaJod was a recent addition to the squad, Shogun left the lineup to join Carnival Gaming. Nevertheless, this lineup has bounced back in the scene and performed quite well in recent events.
The squad delivered thumping performances in the Titans Rising 2024, which was hosted by popular franchise cricket team Gujarat Titans and Revenant Esports. Registering a convincing win in this event lifted their spirits and boosted their confidence.
Except for NinjaJod, these players played for Gladiators Esports back in 2023, where they put on one exceptional performance after the other. The roster won the BGMS Season 2 in emphatic style and Justin was awarded the MVP trophy for his stellar performances. They also came out victorious in the BGIS 2023, a major official tournament in which Delta won the MVP title. This lineup was also the runner-up of last year's BMPS.
Considering their incredible chemistry, Gods Reign signed this roster in January 2024. However, it didn't quite click and they did not receive favorable results in several tournaments. Eventually, the clan parted ways with the squad in May.
NinjaJod also played for Gods Reign in 2023. However, earlier this year, he was a member of Team XSpark, where he and his teammates clinched the BGIS 2024. The squad, except NinjaJod, has once again been signed by the organization ahead of the BGMI 2025 season.
