Mr. Olympia is inching closer with each passing day, and only nine weeks are left till the ultimate showdown, and bodybuilders are getting serious about the show. Nick Walker, aka the 'Mutant', is one of the open division bodybuilders who will be making his comeback to the Olympia stage after being ruled out of the 2023 Mr. Olympia due to a hamstring injury.
Walker is pretty excited about his comeback. The Mutant recently did a Q&A on his Instagram account, and one of the fans asking:
"Many guys coming at their best ever for this Mr.O, you thought. Top 5 ranking."
Nick Walker gave a setting reply to the question asked by his fan. The Mutant's top five are Hadi Choopan, Derek Lunsford, Samson Dauda, and Andrew Jacked. Walker also included his name on the list.
In the end, Walker gave a straight warning to his computer and said:
"Of course, I'll be probably number 1."
The 300-pound mass monster made his much-anticipated comeback in the industry after a long break through the New York Pro. He won the show, defeating the current champion, Tonio Burton. Since then, Walker's confidence has been on the next level.
In his last Mr. Olympia appearance in 2022, the Mutant was third, and now he is aiming to top the Olympia rankings. After his comeback and winning the New York Pro, Walker has been working on his physique and coming out better than ever.
Nick Walker, Andrew Jakced all set for Mr. Olympia
Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, aka Andrew Jacked, has become a formidable competitor in the bodybuilding industry. Recently, Jacked won the Texas Pro title for the third time, earning his Olympia qualification. The Nigerian bodybuilder made his debut in the Sandow Trophy competition in 2022, securing a place in the top ten and placing eighth, just five spots below Walker.
Since then, the 6'2 bodybuilder has reached new heights in his career. Even bodybuilding legends like four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and bodybuilding coach Milos Sarcev also predicted Andrew Jacked to be a tough competitor at the Olympia stage. In his last Olympia appearance, Jacked was in the top five, placing fifth and jumping straight up three ranks.
This year's Olympia will have an intense battle between the top bodybuilders like Samson Dauda, former Mr. Olympia Hadi Choopan, the current Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford, Nick Walker, and Andrew Jacked.
