Ronnie Coleman, the eight-time Mr. Olympia, is the idol of many bodybuilders, and the name of Arnold Classic champion Wesley Vissers has now been added to the list. Earlier, the King of Bodybuilding, Ronnie Coleman, trained with professional heavyweight boxer Tommy Fury. But this time the King trained with Vissers in a gym in Amsterdam.
The Arnold Classic champion uploaded a video on his YouTube channel of him and Coleman having an insane chest workout. The duo began their chest workout with a chest press machine to keep the blood flowing through their chest and did a few sets of the same. But there was a twist in the sets, leaving even the monster Ronnie Coleman surprised.
Gradually, the duo moved to the full stack of the chest press machine, and the King made a statement on Vissers' exceptional strength:
"That stack ain't big for you." [04:35]
Continuing forward, Ronnie Coleman hyped up the Arnold Classic champion for the rest of his reps, saying his signature slang "Yeah Buddy" and "Lightweight Buddy." Then they moved to the chest fly and did some pretty heavy lifts too in the sets, just like the eight-time Mr. Olympia did with the professional boxer Tommy Fury.
Tommy Fury finds inspiration in Ronnie Coleman for lifting weights
The King of Bodybuilding and professional boxer and heavyweight champion Tommy Fury earlier shared a moment with his childhood idol when he got a chance to train with him. Coleman himself uploaded the video to his YouTube channel, sharing a grueling backstory, and kicked off their workout with lat pull-downs.
The King was stunned by Tommy Fury's immense strength and even asked him to go for the full stack.
"Go for the gusto; you got this," the eight-time Mr. Olympia stated, encouraging Fury to push even harder.
After a few sets, the duo moved to the old-school plate-loaded reverse grip machine by hammer strength, and Fury was left astonished by Ronnie Coleman's strength, which he possessed even at this age.
"Just can't believe your luck most of the time; what's going on here? I was watching him when I was like eight or nine on YouTube, like doing these amazing lifts," he further said. [11:40]
These two are not the only ones to have been inspired by eight-time Mr. Olympia to lift heavy weights; he also inspired the seven-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath.
