Adrien Broner tipped to dominate world boxing

Paulie Malignaggi v Adrien Broner

Every few years, a handful of talented fighters are introduced to the world but on rare occasions a special individual takes the sport by storm. In the record books are names of good boxers who were talented, but the greats, on the other hand, were god-gifted, which many boxing experts believe Adrien “The Problem” Broner is on the path to become.

At only 23, Adrien Broner is undefeated and is a three-time world champion. To a occasional boxing fan, these stats may sound like nothing special as there have been plenty. The difference with Broner is he has dominated every talented contender they have put in front of him. What makes him so special is he is one level above everyone with his speed, strength and consistent accuracy.

Just like ‘Money’ Mayweather, Adrien Broner has the attributes and personality traits to become the international super star.

Broner joins the crop of not only amazing fighters but also entertainers who have a way of intriguing audiences. Roy Jones Jr., Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, Prince Naseem Hamed and Muhammad Ali are all considered legends who have left a legacy that will be told for decades to come.

Like anything in life, people are thrilled by a bad guy and Broner is prepared to stand out and be the villain, as more tongues wagging would only ehance his fame.

Grinding other’s gears and getting in opponents’ heads is what he loves to do but at the same time he is naturally funny. At the end of the day love him or hate him, 90% of boxing followers are willing to pay to see him lace up.

Many boxing fans will say Broner is just hype and isn’t going to live up to the ceiling that is projected for him but both his supporters and detractors are enamoured by his popularity and prodigious talent, which rightly makes him the most entertaining new boxer since pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather.

After easily controlling and dominating former champ Paulie Malignaggi in his last fight, Adrien Broner had the nerve to mention to the audience that he is “leaving the night with Paulie’s belt and his girl” referring to Paulie’s ex-girlfriend causing (also outspoken) Paulie to angrily go face to face with Broner in front of the world.

Even to a non-boxing fan that is entertainment.
