Cotto in his post fight interview was asked about “GGG” who was at ringside, he seemed less enthusiastic about the fight but assured that if Golovkin is available after the Canelo fight he is ready to fight him. Golovkin as of now will have to wait in line if he wants to fight Cotto as it’s almost sure whom Cotto has set his sights on.

Golovkin would certainly be much more dangerous than Canelo and Cotto would certainly like to have a go at Canelo first and if things go his way, then a fight with Golovkin would be next but as of now “GGG” will have to wait.

It’s hard to think of any other opponent at present for Cotto other than Canelo or Golovkin. Lot of names can be said with the likes of Mayweather, Pacquiao, Khan, Bradley and many more filling up the list but all have a bare minimum chance of fighting Cotto.
