It looks like the bout is going to start a little later than the expected time.
The bout is about to start soon now. A quick prediction, rooting for Vijender (obviously).
Welcome to the Live Bolg for bout between Vijender Singh and Andrzej Soldra.
Vijender Singh takes on Andrzej Soldra in the sixth professional boxing match of his career. He has been unbeaten in his career so far, winning the last five via Technical Knockouts. This match will be the first eight rounder of his career so Vijender has been working on his “endurance” to compete well with the opponent if it goes on for longer.
The Polish Andrej Soldra has a brilliant a professional record with wins in 16 matches. Five of which have been knockouts. Compared to Vijender’s 14 rounds of boxing, the 30-year old has 81 rounds under his belt. The orthodox boxer has a very Upright stance and seldom switches to a half-crouch stance making him more of a swarmer. Soldra’s tactics outside the ring have been very similar to his in ring tactics, intimidating and to the point, "I am sure Vijender must be worried to face me tomorrow in the ring" he said.
Vijender Singh uses very similar tactics, is more of a classical boxer, with one of the best left-hand leads in the game, but his defense might be tested against Andrzej. This might as well be a battle of two boxers very similar in style and endurance might end up being one of the most important factors. “Due to increase in the number of rounds, my coaches have worked hard on my fitness and stamina," Vijender said. Prepared and ready.
Will the Indian Olympic medalist make it a 6-0 record heading into his homecoming? Or will Soldra get the better of his opponent?
