Manny Pacquiao was recently featured in an interview with the boxing media, and Pacquiao was asked about the future of his boxing career. The Filipino fighting sensation said that he will continue boxing and return to the ring next year. Boxing fans are looking forward to Pacquiao's return, but many people are worried that Pacquiao isn't the same fighter that he once was. Just a few years ago, Manny Pacquiao was a knockout artist, and he had a killer instinct like boxing legends from the past. However, Pacquiao's fighting style seemed to change when he devoted his life to Jesus Christ. Outside of the ring, Manny Pacquiao became a better husband and family man. Unfortunately, his aggressive boxing nature was diminished, and he quickly paid the price for it.Soon after his spiritual transformation, Manny Pacquiao suffered defeats against Timothy Bradley, (Robbery) and Juan Manuel Marquez. The loss to Marquez was devastating, and boxing fans thought that Pacquiao would never be the same. However, Manny Pacquiao came back and proved everyone wrong, and he defeated Brandon Rios, Timothy Bradley, and Chris Algieri in the process. On May 2nd, 2015, the world finally saw the highly anticipated matchup between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. Unfortunately, the fight did not live up to the hype, and boxing fans around the world were left very unsatisfied. However, it was discovered after the fight, that Manny Pacquiao had suffered a serious shoulder injury during training. As a result, Pacquiao was unable to utilize his right hand, and he was basically a one-armed fighter. Nonetheless, Floyd Mayweather took advantage of the situation, and he easily boxed his way to a unanimous decision victory. The loss to Mayweather was heartbreaking for Manny Pacquiao and his supporters. However, boxing fans have argued the decision of the fight, but there is no point. Mayweather won, and we have to accept that. So, what's next for Manny Pacquiao? "The Pacman" has many options, but he desperately wants a rematch against Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao thought that Mayweather wanted to brawl with him, and Manny Pacquiao was recently quoted as saying, “I trained for boxing, but forgot about marathon." Personally, I would be interested in a rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather, but I'm not too confident that it will happen. Aside from a Mayweather rematch, there is only one other fighter that boxing fans want to see Pacquiao in the ring against, and that's Juan Manuel Marquez. Manny Pacquiao should try to avenge his losses to Marquez and Mayweather, and then he should walk away from the sport of boxing.
