Indian bixer Shiva Thapa has receieved a huge boost in regards to his Rio Olympics ambition, with Indian bating legend Sachin Tendulkar backing him to do well in Brazil later this year.
Interacting with his fans durinf his #AskSRT video chat on Twitter on the occasion of Gudi Padwa on Friday, the 42-year-old replied to a query sent by Thapa, who asked him how he handled the pressure while competing at the World Cup.

Tendulkar replied by advicing the boxer to not worry about the pressure and rather focus on the process at hand and let the results take care of itself after that. He further suggested him to enjoy the game and urged him to stay in the present.
The 22-year-old boxer, who will be competing in his second Games in August later this year, became the first Indian to book a berth for Rio at the Asian Olympic qualifiers last month, whe he defeated Kazakhstan’s Kairat Yeraliyev 3-0 in the semis.
