Wladimir Klitschko, the long reigning WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO title holder is all set to face WBO number one contender Tyson Fury in the United Kingdom. But only after this bout, Klitschko would be looking to face Deontay Wilder for the WBC title and unify all the heavyweight titles. WBC heavyweight champion Wilder proved he is the real deal after knocking out Eric Molina this past Saturday night.
Klitschko is so particular about the WBC title because it's a belt that his retired brother Vitali used to own. With Wilder in hot form, Klitschko vs Wilder would make one heck of a heavyweight showdown. Speaking to Ringside, Klitschko said :
"Obviously he is one of my target opponents since he's holding the title that I've never had before," Klitschko told Ringside.
"I definitely want to unify all the belts, but it's not a must. If that's not going to work, I'll still be the heavyweight champion of the world. It's not a must, but it would be nice to unify that belt that Deontay Wilder holds," he added.
