Black Ops 6 can create a sense of nostalgia with 6 interesting weapons from Black Ops 1
From submachine guns to impactful assault rifles, there are many options to consider reintroducing from the first installment in 2010 to Treyarch's Black Ops 6.
Below are six guns the developing studio's team should consider bringing back either at launch or during a mid-season update.
1) FAMAS (assault rifle)
This bullpup gun was initially introduced in the 2007 title Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and then in 2009's Modern Warfare 2. However, its popularity reached new heights when Black Ops 1 brought it back. It was obtainable after unlocking the Create-a-Class feature.
It was a great weapon for close to medium-range encounters and dealt heavy damage. FAMAS usually takes about two to four shots to take down an enemy. That said, it would be nice to see this gun make a return in Black Ops 6.
2) Uzi (submachine gun)
In Black Ops 1, the Uzi SMG was available to unlock at Level 23. The fully automatic gun can deal heavy damage despite its slow fire rate.
It makes up for this with good accuracy and overall handling. In Black Ops 1, it allowed players to move at 100% of the base movement speed. One can get a balanced gunfight experience with this SMG.
3) M16 (assault rifle)
This M16 assault rifle is a good choice for medium-range fights, as it can fire high-damage burst shots to take down enemies.
In Black Ops 1, the fully automatic M16 was a free gun to unlock in the default Classes for Level 1. With CoD Black Ops 6, it could be suitable for those who are fond of taking on medium-range encounters more frequently.
4) Spectre (submachine gun)
The Spectre in Black Ops 1 was available to unlock at Level 41 and was the second-to-last SMG to obtain. This gun was a good option to earn points in Black Ops 1's Zombies mode, provided players aimed for headshots.
With its high fire rate and almost no recoil, the Spectre is a solid gun overall and can help you take down enemies almost instantly.
5) G11 (assault rifle)
The three-round burst gun was a classified assault rifle in Black Ops 1. With effective accuracy, it could take down targets easily. Not to mention, there was almost no recoil when firing this weapon.
Since most players prefer using guns with little to no recoil, the G11 should be largely popular among players if it's reintroduced in BO6.
6) AK-74u (submachine gun)
The AK-74u was initially revealed in CoD 4: Modern Warfare and then the original Modern Warfare 2. When the developers unveiled the SMG in Black Ops 1, it was available to purchase for 2,000 COD Points after reaching Level 17.
Similar to the G11, the AK-74u also had almost no recoil, making it easy for players to take down enemies quickly without wasting too many bullets. Moreover, it dealt high damage, thanks to its solid firepower.
