There are 33 weapons in Black Ops 6 at launch. Fans will be familiar with some of these weapons from the BO6 Beta in September, such as the Jackal PDW, C9, and more. At least 12 of these 33 weapons in the game are completely new to the franchise. Although 33 weapons might seem like a small arsenal collection, fret not as more guns will be added to the game in the upcoming seasons.
Check out the section below for a complete list of all the weapons in Black Ops 6 and how you can get them.
How to unlock all weapons in Black Ops 6?
Unlocking weapons in Black Ops 6 follows the same progression system which requires you to level up your Military Rank in the game. The following are all the weapons in Black Ops 6 along with their unlock criteria:
Assault Rifles (7)
Assault Rifles are the go-to pick for most players. They are excellent picks for mid-range combat and are quite versatile. Since the inception of COD games, Assault Rifles have always been at the forefront and boast a high pick rate, and rightfully so. Here are all the Assault Rifles and how you can unlock them in Black Ops 6:
SMG (6)
Black Ops 6 will feature 6 SMGs at launch. SMGs or Submachine Guns excel at close-quarter gunfights and boast superior mobility stats. This allows the player to easily navigate the map and get close to their enemies. The ultimate meta weapon during the game’s beta was an SMG, which allowed players to easily dominate on the smaller maps. Here are all the SMGs in Black Ops 6:

Shotguns (2)
Shotguns in Black Ops 6 at launch are limited and players will have only two to choose from. They are extremely lethal at closer ranges, allowing the player to instantly take down enemies with a shot or two. These are great picks for smaller maps and tight spaces. They can overpower even the best weapons in Black Ops 6 under such conditions. The following are all the Shotguns and the requirements to unlock them:
LMG (3)
Lightmachine Guns or LMGs are decent picks for mid and long-range combat. Their main strength lies in their ability to hold a large number of bullets in a single magazine, capable of eliminating multiple targets without even having to reload. They also make great choices for wallbang kills as they carry quite a punch with each round. Here are all the LMGs at launch:
Marksman Rifles (4)
Marksman Rifles are great for mid and long-range combat. While they may not be as powerful as Sniper Rifles, they make up for it with a higher fire rate. This allows you to shoot frequently, thus capable of dealing more damage over time. On top of that, they are much more forgiving for missing a shot compared to Sniper Rifles as you can quickly land a follow-up shot. Here are all the Marksman Rifles:
Sniper Rifles (3)
Sniper Rifles are the ultimate weapons for long-range combat and there is no debate about it. These weapons in Black Ops 6 are generally a one-shot kill, capable of dealing devastating damage. In the right hands, a Sniper Rifle can wreak havoc in the lobby. The lineup for Sniper Rifle, however, is quite limited in the shooter at launch. The following are all the Sniper Rifles in Black Ops 6:
Pistols (4)
Pistols or Handguns are solid Secondary weapons. Even if you run out of bullets on your main weapon, having a Pistol always ensures that you are never out of the fight. The popular statement by Gaz from Call of Duty 4 “Switching to your Pistol is always faster than reloading” is still relevant. The following are all the Pistols in the game:
Launchers (2)
Launchers have always had a spot in the Call of Duty games. Although they are underutilized, they are quite useful, especially in taking down Scorestreaks. At the moment, only the following are available in the game:
Melee Weapons (2)
Melee Weapons are a major part of the Black Ops 6’s arsenal. Apart from the generic weapons in Black Ops 6, developers are focusing a lot on giving utility to the Melee Weapons. So much so, that Black Ops 6 now has a dedicated slot for them. These are the Melee Weapons on day one:
