All new game modes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is going live on June 26, 2024, at 9 am PT. This mid-season update will make the battle royale more engaging with various new additions, including POI changes, fresh modes, events, and more. Notably, two new limited-time modes called Mutation Resurgence Quads and Mutation Buy Back Quads will become available.

In this article, we will detail the two modes that will be available in a few hours with the release of Warzone Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded new modes: Mutation Resurgence Quads and Mutation Buy Back Quads

After the launch of Call of Duty Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, two new modes will be available. These can be played at the updated Popov Power Plant POI in Urzikstan.

The plot of Season 4 Reloaded involves the detonation of the DNA Bomb at this POI, resulting in significant alterations to the area, including the emergence of multiple pathways and an underground tunnel.

Mutation Resurgence Quads

In Mutation Resurgence Quads mode, the rules are similar to standard Resurgence mode, where you have unlimited respawns as long as at least one squad member is alive.

That said, there's a Resurgence timer and once it expires, respawning is no longer possible. The main difference is the absence of Tacticals and Lethals, instead, there will be various unique mutant abilities.

Mutation Buy Back Quads

The Mutation Buy Back Quads mode is similar to the popular Buy Back mode, where players do not respawn automatically or go to the Gulag; instead, they must gather cash. With the required amount of cash, they can buy themselves back into the game.

This buyback option extends to teammates as well; if you get eliminated and you don't have enough cash, your teammates can buy you back.

Similar to Mutation Resurgence, this mode excludes Lethal or Tactical equipment, relying instead on mutant abilities to aid in battles.

Mutant abilities

There are seven mutant abilities that both the above modes will have in common:

• Bioshield: Creates a protective bubble that blocks incoming damage but allows you to shoot out from within this sphere.
• Divebomb: Rocket into the air, then dive towards a target. On impact, any nearby enemies are damaged and pushed back.
• Mutant Leap: Perform a charged jump that covers vast distances.
• Toxic Stim Cloud: Deploy a poisonous cloud that inflicts damage to enemies and boosts your squad mates’ speed for a short duration.
• Sludge Sling: Toss sludge grenades that explode into a toxic gas cloud on impact. The gas slows and damages enemies over time.
• Mutant Cloak: Turn partially invisible for a short time. You leave green footprints while cloaked.
• Mutant Vision: See enemies outlined in red through walls for a short duration.
