Activision to introduce three new maps in Black Ops 6 Season 1
The latest maps in Black Ops 6 Season 1 multiplayer were announced on November 4, 2024. All three maps support the 6v6 format while Heirloom also incorporates the 2v2 format. Here are the maps:
- Hideout
- Heirloom
- Extraction
An official X post from the Call of Duty page confirmed the arrival of the three maps. Extraction is a rather open map situated in a coastal region. It features Helicopter landing zones as one of its largest areas visible, at least from the teaser. It also features a pier which could be an interesting combat zone.
The teaser also showcased Heirloom which seems starkly different from Extraction. It appears as if the map consists of an art gallery or museum. Finally, the third map is Hideout which seems to house a military settlement or an abandoned base.
We get glimpses of abandoned shipping containers on the map which could be an interesting playing area. All of these maps will be released with the arrival of Season 1 on November 14, 2024.
