Black Ops 6 Zombies to bring back the round-based experience, Wonder Weapons, and more

Treyarch's team has already confirmed that the round-based Zombies format is making a return in 2024. It will follow the current Dark Aether storyline from CoD Black Ops Cold War.

Moreover, players will get two brand-new maps under the round-based experience BO6 Zombies will offer. While one of them is called Liberty Falls, the second one is Terminus.

It's worth noting that CoD Black Ops Cold War was the last game to have round-based gameplay. This title was released almost four years ago (as of June 2024).

Rampage and Salvage in Black Ops 6 Zombies

The Rampage Inducer from Black Ops Cold War Zombies is also reportedly making a comeback. As suggested by an insider, this weapon can be seen briefly during some sequences in the BO6 Zombies teaser shown during the Xbox Showcase.

In CoD Black Ops Cold War, using the Rampage resulted in the enemies (zombies) gaining increased movement speed and a high spawn rate through Round 20.

Another interesting addition to BO6 Zombies could be the Salvage. Reportedly, the weapon was spotted in specific shots in the teaser clip for this mode.

The Salvage was last seen in Cold War Zombies and Vanguard Zombies. It's basically a part of the extended system of Buildables and can be used to repair armor, create armor, upgrade weapon levels, and craft items.
