All weapon camos in the MW3 Rewind event and how to unlock them in Modern Warfare 3

MW3 Rewind marks the final event in Modern Warfare 3's life cycle, offering a variety of rewards, including six weapon camos that can be applied to any weapon. Season 6, the game's concluding season, will wrap up on October 17, 2024, bringing the event to a close as well.

In addition to the camos, players can unlock various in-game cosmetics and two Operator Skins for Jabber as the ultimate reward. Each of the six camos features unique designs and color patterns, making them visually appealing.

This article will cover all the weapon camos you can unlock in the MW3 Rewind event and how to unlock them in Modern Warfare 3.

What are all the MW3 Rewind event weapon camos available in Modern Warfare 3?

The MW3 Rewind event features six weapon camos, five animated while one is not. You can unlock them by completing the associated tasks in Modern Warfare 3.

How to unlock the Live, Laugh, Lava animated camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Live, Laugh, Lava animated camo, you must get seven operator kills using the JAK Purifier or Thermobaric Grenade. This challenge is relatively easy and can be completed in a single match.

For a quick completion, customize your loadout with a weapon compatible with the JAK Purifier (such as the AMP 9, MCW, Holger 556, MTZ-556, SVA 545, DG-56, RAM-7, BAS-B, MTZ-762, Sidewinder, or Riveter) and equip the Thermobaric Grenade as your lethal equipment.

After that, jump into any Modern Warfare 3 mode and start eliminating enemies. The Live, Laugh, Lava camo is especially appealing, featuring a dynamic lava design with shifting colors.

How to unlock the Sunset Armageddon animated camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Sunset Armageddon animated camo, you must get 15 operator kills using a suppressed weapon while having the Blacklight Flashlight perk equipped. This challenge is relatively easy to complete.

Simply choose your preferred weapon, equip the muzzle attachment with a suppressor, and customize your loadout by selecting the Blacklight Flashlight perk. Once you're ready, start any mode and eliminate enemies to earn this reward.

How to unlock the Cloudy Day animated camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Cloudy Day animated camo, you must get seven 1 Shot 1 Kill operator kills using the Crossbow or Torque 35.

While this task may be straightforward, it can still pose a challenge for some. Fortunately, the Crossbow has received buffs, including increased bolt velocity, making it easier to achieve a one-shot kill when hitting the head.

To complete this challenge more efficiently, you can equip a secondary weapon to weaken enemies and finish them off with the Torque 35 or Crossbow for the final shot. This approach will help you complete the challenge more quickly.

How to unlock the Tall Order camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Tall Order camo, you must deploy five Counter-UAVs, UAVs, or Advanced UAV Killstreaks.

This task is also easy to complete. To speed up the process, customize your Killstreak setup by equipping the UAV, Counter-UAV, and Advanced UAV.

After four consecutive kills without dying, the UAV will be available; after five kills, the Counter-UAV will be available; and after 12 kills, the Advanced UAV will be available. Keep getting kills and activate these Killstreaks to complete the challenge quickly.

It's also important to note that using the Advanced UAV is not mandatory. If you can't get 12 kills in a row, you can still finish the challenge by deploying the UAV five times.

This camo, in particular, is not animated but features a unique giraffe-themed design.

How to unlock the Sparkle and Shine animated camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Sparkle and Shine animated camo, you must get 15 operator kills with an Akimbo attachment equipped on any weapon.

This challenge is also relatively easy, as Akimbo setups are highly effective in close-range combat. For quicker completion, consider using the WSP Stinger Akimbo or the Reclaimer Akimbo builds. Hop into small maps like Shipment, adopt an aggressive playstyle, and push toward enemies at close range to secure your 15 kills.

The camo itself is visually appealing, featuring a black, grey, and white theme with star shapes that continuously shift and change colors between white and black.

How to unlock the Bricked animated camo in the MW3 Rewind event

To unlock the Bricked animated camo, you must get seven hip-fire operator kills with the TYR or Basilisk Pistol.

This challenge is arguably the toughest among those mentioned. While both handguns are highly powerful, they can be difficult to control. Since the challenge specifically requires hip-fire kills, it adds another layer of difficulty.

A smart strategy would be to play with a squad and let your teammates damage the enemies, allowing you to finish them off with hip-fire shots. Even one or two shots should be enough to secure a kill, making the challenge more manageable.
